Job description

We've partnered with a highly respected law firm with offices across the U.S. to assist in hiring a Associate Attorney for their busy Defense Litigation practice based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney seeking to build their career in civil defense litigation with a firm known for its strong mentorship culture and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Active Bar admission in the state of Nevada (required).

  • 1-3+ years of experience in civil or defense litigation preferred.

  • The firm is open to training the right candidate who has prior legal experience, is a quick learner, and eager to grow in defense work.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft persuasive legal documents and articulate complex legal issues clearly.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.

  • Comfortable collaborating in a team environment and interacting closely with clients.

  • Willingness and confidence to make court appearances in both State and Federal Court.

  • Familiarity with document management systems such as NetDocs is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
