Job Description
Job Title: CT Tech
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology
Specialty: CT Tech
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night 4x10-Hour
Hours per Shift: 10
Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred, may consider less if candidate has relevant experience.
License: OH State License required; pending license accepted.
Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS
Must-Have:
- Experience with GE and/or Toshiba/Cannon equipment
- Level I or Level II trauma experience preferred
- Experience with charting in Epic
Description:
Performs and completes diagnostic procedures.
Follows guidelines set by the facility and relevant associations.
Prepares patients for examinations.
Performs diagnostic radiology procedures in accordance with guidelines.
Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics.
Provides radiation safety for the operator and the patient.
Positions patients correctly for procedures.
Adheres to department policy regarding routine procedures.
Typical volume is 270-290 scans per day.
Must be able to work every other weekend and holidays as assigned.
Candidates should have skills in various imaging techniques and studies.
Experience with 3D rendering and contrast media administration is preferred.
Demonstrates knowledge of radiation safety practices.
Must be able to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
Active engagement in continuous learning and professional development is expected.
