Job Description

Join a global supplier of automobile seats and interior trim in a dynamic production environment. The role involves working on seat production and requires team players.

Responsibilities

  • Replace electrical components, switches, fixtures, wires, fuses, motors, and circuit breakers.
  • Work on transformers, controllers, switching relays, contractors, timers, heating devices, disconnects, thermocouples, solenoid valves, and lights.
  • Rewire machinery to update specifications, punch holes in boxes, assemble electrical panels.
  • Locate, diagnose, and repair machinery with electrical problems.
  • Read blueprints, engineering sketches or designs; recognize and interpret details.
  • Regularly inspect and adjust manufacturing equipment.
  • Oil, grease, align, and clean machinery and mechanical parts.
  • Fit bearings, align and synchronize gears, connect belts and chains, replace seals and gaskets, and torque fasteners.

Essential Skills

  • Experience as an industrial maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment or relevant schooling (Technical School or associate degree in automation, robotics, or electro-mechanical engineering).
  • Read and understand drawings.
  • Run Conduit

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
