Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and prior IR experience.

Details
  • Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule (4x10 hours), 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • 13-week assignment length
  • Every other or every third weekend coverage as needed
  • Floating may be required
  • On-call requirement of 2 shifts during the contract
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred
Requirements
  • Active Ohio RN license or compact license required, must be in hand at time of consideration
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
  • Interventional Radiology experience required
  • Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
  • Skills in circulating procedures and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias required
  • Experience with Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, scrub procedures, and electrophysiology procedures preferred
  • Triage skills preferred
  • 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a Manager/Director or formal leadership role and the second from a Charge RN or higher; coworker references not accepted
Additional Information
  • Responsibilities include circulating procedures and managing dysrhythmias in the IR setting
  • Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing the contract due to strict compliance timelines
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
  • RTO must be submitted with the contract and limited to 7 days or less
  • Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more
  • Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at this health system
  • First-time travelers may be considered if they have skills specific to IR and/or RPR
