Buckeye Power Sales is a Growth-Oriented Company Seeking a Branch Service Manager for our Power Systems Division!
Buckeye Power Sales has been providing on site power solutions for businesses, contractors, engineers, municipalities and homeowners since 1947, which makes us the oldest Rehlko (formerly Kohler) generator distributor in the country. We are also a distributor of Siemens Energy engines and generators for a wide range of power generation applications such as combined heat and power, waste to power, prime, and continuous. From power generation to light construction to grounds care - we have the machines, equipment, parts, programs & service to help you get the job done.

Our Power Systems Branch Service Managers are responsible for:
  • Managing and motivating staff, recruiting staff, training and develop staff
  • Managing timekeeping and time off; conducting performance evaluations; participating in the interview process; administering disciplinary actions and terminations
  • Assuring adequate staffing based on workload and coverage for off-hour calls
  • Managing service and customer service activities to optimize employee performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Resolving customer issues and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Quality assurance of work performed/deliverables
  • Managing costs and overheads of the department
  • Managing upkeep and condition of all facilities and equipment
  • Providing recommendations and developing strategies on how to improve the quality and quantity of service
  • Attending meetings and contributing to company strategy and policymaking as required
  • Developing staff to their fullest potential, grooming for promotion from within when appropriate
  • Conducting monthly random job site audits to validate the effectiveness of training-including safety training.

Requirements
  • 2 years of management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of generator service and EGSA certification preferred
  • High Mechanical Aptitude
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain insurability through company insurer
  • Minimal travel may be required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task required
  • Computer skills to include MS office products (Word, Excel, Outlook); data entry
  • Must always represent the company in a positive manner
  • Must be able to pass background check and periodic drug screens

The pay range for this role is:
100,000 - 130,000 USD per year (Ohio)
