Consolidated Data Analytics Platform Systems Administrator, Lead

The Opportunity:

You'll be responsible for the design, deployment, operation, and sustainment of enterprise-level data analytics platforms supporting Mission Partner Environments (MPE). This role ensures secure, reliable, and high-performance infrastructure and services that enable data sharing and analytics across multi-domain and multinational partners. You will serve as a technical authority, guiding system architecture, integration, and operational best practices.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator in a security environment
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team of Systems Administrators
  • Experience with Linux operating systems such as RHEL, CentOS or Ubuntu
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, OpenVAS and remediation processes
  • Experience with identity and access management (IAM) concepts
  • Experience in scripting and automation with Bash, Python, or Ansible
  • Knowledge of system hardening standards such as STIGs or CIS Benchmarks
  • Knowledge of log management and SIEM platforms such Splunk or ELK
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with container security such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools
  • Experience in the DoW, Intelligence Community, or other regulated environments
  • Knowledge of SELinux, AppArmor, and kernel-level security controls
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
