Position Overview:

This role helps develop custom learning solutions that are targeted towards over 200,000 learners across the Wendy’s system. We are looking for learning and development professionals who can help us bring our training programs to life through the creation of eLearning, instructor-led content, and other real-time performance support aids.

Responsibilities

1. Develop eLearning courses, including audio, video, simulation, etc.- 25%

2. Develop just-in-time training solutions: visual training aids, user guides, software/hardware manuals, microlearning videos- 25%

3. Develop instructor-led training resources: instructor guides, participant workbooks and presentations- 25%

4. Assist with photo/video shoots 20%

5. Develop custom icons, graphics & visual elements- 5%

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Pay Range: $63,000.00 - $107,000.00 Annually

What we expect from youExpected Work Location (In Office): It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Wendy's Restaurant Support Center (RSC) (1 Dave Thomas Blvd, Dublin, OH 43017), or at other location(s) as designated by the Company. You are required to work in the office at least 4 days a week. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs. #LI-Onsite 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or related field -or- Professional Instructional Design Certification- required
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience developing custom learning solutions for diverse target audiences, including eLearning, video, and print resources
  • Expertise with eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate)
  • Expertise with Adobe suite (i.e. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Acrobat DC)
  • Expertise with Microsoft 365 suite (i.e. Word, TEAMS and Excel)
  • Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional subject matter experts
  • Advanced technical writing skills and general business communication skills (PowerPoint and Email)
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. The target annual bonus for this role is 7.5% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
