Job Title:Post Doctoral ScholarDepartment:Arts and Sciences | Microbiology Administration

This position researches theoretical and experimental methods for development and use of microfluidic and nanofluidic approaches towards understanding which viruses in natural samples interact with bacteria. The research would involve evaluation of current state of art and implementation of highly scalable experimental assays. The research approaches may consider methods already developed or under-development in related projects in Dr. Prakash's group. The position will require the candidate to prepare research results for publication and presentation; assists in writing research proposals; participate in group activities; assist and present in group meetings; assist in working with supervisor to mentor junior team members; work on related activities per supervisor discretion.

Required: Doctorate in Biological Sciences.
