Job Title: Senior Data Architect

Location: Marysville, Ohio (Onsite: 4 days/week or 80% or more)

Contract Duration 12+ Months

Position Success Criteria (Desired) - 'WANTS'

  • A bachelor s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or related field .
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in design and implementation of data models (Erwin) for enterprise data warehouse initiatives
  • Experience leading projects involving cloud data lakes, data warehousing, data modelling, and data analysis
  • Proficiency in the design and implementation of modern data architectures and concepts such as cloud services (AWS), real-time data distribution (Kinesis, Kafka, Dataflow), and modern data warehouse tools (Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks)
  • Experience with various database platforms, including DB2, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Couchbase, MongoDB, etc.
  • Understanding of entity-relationship modelling, metadata systems, and data security, quality tools and techniques
  • Ability to design traditional/relational and modern big-data architecture based on business needs
  • Experience with business intelligence tools and technologies such as Informatica, Power BI, and Tableau
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate and excel in complex, cross-functional teams involving data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders
  • Ability to guide solution design and architecture to meet business needs
