Description
The City of Marysville is accepting applications for a Seasonal Part-time Streets Maintenance Worker
This is a seasonal part-time position working within the Streets Division of the Public Service Department. Work is generally 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday with some overtime authorized. The duration of employment will last approximately 19 weeks.
Job Responsibilities
  • Performance of semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of streets to include, but not limited to: crack sealing roadways, asphalt maintenance, concrete maintenance, and litter control.
  • Operate light-to-heavy construction and automotive equipment (i.e. pickup truck, small dump truck, backhoe, skid loader, chipper etc)
  • Collect yard waste daily on assigned routes
  • Assist Streets Equipment Operators by reporting damaged roads and missing or damaged traffic signals and signs.
  • Operate jackhammers and pneumatic compacting equipment.
  • Clean drainage ditches and storm-drain pipes
  • Other duties as assigned by the Streets Division

Job Requirements
  • High School Graduate, some College is a plus
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Prior experience in construction and heavy equipment operation is a plus.
  • Valid Ohio Driver's license with a good driving record
  • CDL Class B or higher is a plus

Supplemental Information
Rate of pay is $20.00
