Maintenance Electrician

Direct Hire

1st shift: 7am-3:30pm

Pay: ($38-$42) - depends on experience/interview

Job Description

We are seeking a Controls Technician or strong Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced and hands-on environment. The role involves maintaining the electrical systems of multiple custom lines and downstream systems, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability. The Controls Technician will play a pivotal role in strengthening production line performance and leading electrical and controls aspects of new projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics to maintain production line efficiency.
  • Navigate PLCs for system diagnostics without programming.
  • Conduct equipment maintenance and facility support.
  • Provide technical leadership within the maintenance team.
  • Develop junior technicians and enhance team capabilities.
  • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to system design standards.

Essential Skills

  • Strong electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to work on 480 volt systems.
  • Experience with VFDs, instrumentation, and motor control circuits.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
  • Understanding of safety circuits and basic troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Preferred education in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance Technology, Mechatronics, or Automation/Controls Technology.
  • Completion of a state-recognized electrical apprenticeship or military electrical/technical training.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or electrical roles.
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley hardware for online diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70E and industrial electrical safety practices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $79040.00 - $87360.00/yr.
