Job Title :: SAP HANA Functional Consultant – Sales Analytics & Reporting

Location :: New jersey City, NJ  (Onsite)

Contract :: 6+ months contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated SAP HANA Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Sales business processes, SAP HANA, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and PL/SQL. The candidate will work closely with Sales, Business Intelligence, and IT teams to deliver scalable reporting, analytics, and data integration solutions that drive sales performance, customer insights, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Functional Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Understand and support end-to-end sales processes including:
  • Lead-to-Cash
  • Order-to-Cash (O2C)
  • Customer Management
  • Pricing and Discounts
  • Sales Orders and Billing
  • Revenue and Margin Analysis
• Translate business requirements into SAP HANA reporting and analytics solutions.
• Design and maintain sales KPIs, scorecards, and performance dashboards.
• Support sales forecasting, pipeline analysis, and customer profitability reporting.
• Provide functional expertise during testing, deployment, and production support.

SAP HANA Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP HANA Calculation Views, Analytical Views, and Data Models.
• Create optimized reporting structures for sales analytics.
• Support SAP ECC/S4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) reporting requirements.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation between SAP and cloud environments.
• Optimize SAP HANA queries and reporting performance.

GCP & BigQuery Responsibilities

• Integrate SAP sales data into Google Cloud Platform for enterprise analytics.
• Develop and maintain BigQuery datasets and reporting layers.
• Support cloud-based data warehousing and analytics initiatives.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams on data ingestion and transformation processes.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are maintained.

PL/SQL Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL procedures, packages, and functions.
• Create automated validation and reconciliation processes.
• Support ETL/ELT processes and data transformation requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance-related database issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP HANA Functional Consulting.
• Hands-on experience with GCP and BigQuery implementations.
• Strong experience in SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Experience working with Sales and Distribution business users.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA Sales (SD) experience.
• Google Cloud Certification.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in cloud data migration projects.
