Peninsula Plastics is looking to hire a high-performing and motivated individual for our Industrial Cleaner position at our Pontiac AND Auburn Hills facilities.

Company Description:

Our company specializes in manufacturing re-usable plastic packaging and is a leader in the thermoforming industry. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Industrial Cleaner. This individual will support our organization by cleaning and maintaining Peninsula Plastics’ facilities.

Location: Must be able to travel between our facilities in Pontiac, MI and Auburn Hills, MI.

2800 Auburn CT., Auburn Hills, MI 48326

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Pay: $17.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks and services throughout both facilities.
• Use of cleaning cart to transport cleaning supplies.
• Clean and disinfect all bathrooms at both facilities.
• Clean and disinfect common areas such as kitchens, breakrooms, lobbies, etc
• Wipe and dust surfaces in offices and on the plant floor.
• Vacuum and clean floors, rugs, furniture, etc
• Stock kitchens, breakrooms, bathrooms, etc with designated cleaning supplies and utensils.
• Pick up and empty trash containers.
• Notify manager if something is not working properly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Travel between facilities daily to support operations at both locations

Qualifications:

• A WORKING VEHICLE IS REQUIRED - Daily travel between both of our buildings
• Minimum 3-5 years of Industrial Cleaning experience.
• Proven experience cleaning factories or warehouses.
• Detail-orientated and thorough.
• Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of individual offices.
• Ability to communicate with peers.
• Excellent attendance background.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
