  • Engage with domestic and international customers, research institutions, OEMs, and strategic accounts to understand technical requirements and business objectives.
  • Analyze customer specifications, application requirements, facility conditions, and performance expectations to recommend optimal solutions.
  • Support customer visits, virtual meetings, and technical discussions to evaluate applications and address technical challenges.
  • Develop technical proposals, quotations, presentations, and application recommendations.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to support opportunity development, customer engagement, and business growth initiatives.
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Marketing teams to define product requirements and deliver effective customer solutions.
  • Support project coordination activities, including customer communications, order management, and scheduling updates.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for product and market growth.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation, application notes, case studies, training materials, and customer-facing content.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com and other business systems to manage opportunities, maintain customer records, and support forecasting activities.
  • Analyze business and customer data to improve sales effectiveness, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and technologies to enhance productivity, proposal quality, responsiveness, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Deliver technical training and presentations to customers, channel partners, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on products, applications, and industry trends.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience and business performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related physical science discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, systems engineering, product engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role.
  • Experience supporting complex capital equipment, scientific instrumentation, semiconductor equipment, precision manufacturing systems, or other high-technology products.
  • Strong engineering analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
