Job description

Facilities Technician - Ventana Lakes

Ventana Lakes is looking for a Full-Time Facilities Technician located in Sun City, AZ. Apply today and join our team!

Reports to: Facilities Manager and Executive Director

Qualifications:

•1-2 years of building and grounds maintenance experience and HVAC experience preferred, but not required

•Great customer service skills

•Excellent problem-solving skills

•Experience in a residential community (Preferred)

•Flexible scheduling, weekdays/weekends, holidays, etc., and response to after-hours emergency calls

Pool Certification is a Plus (Preferred)

Job Duties:

  • Maintenance Technician maintains all facilities, including but not limited to all equipment and property
  • Inspect all facilities and equipment as needed for operations and any potential hazardous conditions which may or may not exist.
  • Report any problems to Facilities Manager immediately.
  • Work on daily and weekly plan activities.
  • Assess urgency of work and recommend priority to Facilities Manager.
  • Keep, maintain, mark and secure Community Property (tools).
  • Reasonable availability for after hour’s emergencies to include occasional weekend rotation.
  • Check and inspect all Community trails daily.
  • Maintain inventory of all supplies needed for the Community as approved by the Community budget.
  • Regular maintenance of facilities.
  • Assesses materials needed for repair issues in advance and consolidates procurement time & travel.
  • Monitor all restroom facilities and supplies.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness of maintenance office, supply shed, and immediate yard area.
