• Training period:comprehensive 10-week training period-8 weeksin the field working side by side with a dedicated trainer & 2 weeks classroom-based training in Loveland, CO.

Reporting to theField Service Manager,theField Service Technicianis responsible fordelivery of high-quality customer service, performing preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of Hach deviceslocatedat our customer sites. The customer base for this role isanticipatedto be a combination of municipal (i.e., drinking and wastewater treatment facilities) and industrial (i.e., power plants and food and beverage plants).

In this role, you will:

• Performpreventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation using established company standard work.

• Promotes a positive customer experience and serves as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems.

• Work in a wide variety of municipal and industrial settings, including but not limited to drinking water & wastewater treatment facilities, refineries, chemical manufacturing plants, food & beverage processing facilities, etc....Some applications may involve instrument servicing in NEC hazardous locations (Class I Division 2) *

• Submits prompt, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure.

• Followssafe work practices according to company policy.

• Executes administrative activities in support of service visits.

• Daily travel to customer sites. This role will be based in theAuburndale/Lakeland, FLarea andsupportsour customers throughout the territory.

• Expectbetween50%&75%travel.Company-paid travel, accommodations, and meals are provided for overnight stays. You can expect to have 1 or 2 overnight stays per week.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Previousexperience in a travel-based field service and/or customer-facing roles

• HS Diplomarequired; Associates/technical degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience.

• Basic mechanical aptitude isa must- experience with preventative maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair is helpful but notrequired..

• This position requires occasional rental of vehicles or booking of hotel rooms for business travel. A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to rent a car and/ orhotel rooms under applicable state law arerequired.
