The CDL Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles primarily on regional routes, handling a combination of local and extended driving assignments. This role requires adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance while maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the dispatcher. The driver will utilize electronic logging devices to manage routes and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely on regional routes and varied assignments
• Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness
• Maintain accurate logs using electronic logging devices
• Comply with all safety and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
• Report promptly to dispatcher regarding routes and issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in commercial driving
• Proficient in commercial vehicle operation
• Knowledgeable about DOT regulations
• Strong communication skills
