Job description
Position Description
Performs a variety of simple engineering duties to design, plan, and oversee the design and development of electric/electronic devices and systems applied to new or existing products. Evaluates progress and results of projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Designs and troubleshoots electrical/electronic assemblies and systems
- Confirms system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties
- Adheres to new product development processes as it relates to Concept Analysis, Business Case, product development, pre-production and post launch steps
- Recommends methods of manufacturing during the design of new products, design modifications or process changes based on cost/design studies
- Acts as a liaison between other departments as necessary
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Skills Requirements
Knowledge and use of electrical/electronic control circuits and systems
Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and their uses in various power systems
Knowledge of appropriate standards and regulations
Knowledge of applicable technologies and/or products
Communication skills to explain designs and logic used
Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related field
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of one year of relevant internship experience
