Cargo Van Delivery Driver (Independent Contractor)

Job Type: Independent Contractor Pay: Based on package weight and volume delivered About the Position We are seeking reliable, motivated, and professional Cargo Van Delivery Drivers to join our growing delivery team. Drivers will be responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering packages safely and efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently throughout the day. Responsibilities Load and organize packages for daily routes Deliver packages safely and accurately Follow delivery instructions and company procedures Take required delivery photos and maintain accurate records Communicate with customers when necessary Complete assigned routes in a timely manner Report delivery issues or exceptions immediately Maintain a professional attitude with customers and team members Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations Schedule Routes begin at 7:00 AM daily Monday through Sunday availability may be required Weekly schedules provided based on route availability Compensation Package rates are based on weight: 0–5 lbs: $1.80 per package 5–20 lbs: $2.50 per package 20–50 lbs: $4.00 per package 50–70 lbs: $5.00 per package 70–100 lbs: $7.00 per package 100+ lbs: $8.50 per package Pay is issued weekly every Friday. Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable transportation (Cargo Van) Smartphone with camera and data access Ability to lift up to 100 lbs Strong communication skills Ability to work independently Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to pass any required background screening Preferred Qualifications Previous delivery experience Logistics, courier, or warehouse experience Experience using navigation and delivery applications What We're Looking For We value drivers who are dependable, customer-focused, safety-minded, and committed to completing routes accurately and efficiently.
