Pest Control Technician — Hiring Now

Zappem Pest Control is looking to hire a reliable, hard-working Pest Control Technician to join our team. We are a growing pest control company serving South Florida, providing general pest control, lawn and ornamental treatments, plant and palm fertilization, and exterior pest prevention services.

Job Responsibilities

The technician will be responsible for performing pest control services at residential and commercial properties, including:

• General household pest control treatments

• Exterior perimeter pest control services

• Lawn and ornamental pest treatments

• Plant and palm fertilization

• Mosquito treatments

• Inspecting properties for pest activity and problem areas

• Communicating professionally with customers

• Following treatment instructions, safety procedures, and product labels

• Keeping the service vehicle and equipment clean and organized

• Completing service notes and paperwork accurately

The ideal candidate should be:

• Reliable and on time

• Professional, respectful, and comfortable working with people from all backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ customers, coworkers, and community members.

• Comfortable working outdoors in South Florida weather

• Able to work independently after training

• Detail-oriented and willing to follow instructions

• Physically able to lift, carry, bend, walk properties, and handle equipment

• Willing to learn pest control, lawn care, and plant health services

• Comfortable working with technology

• Clean, organized, and responsible with company tools and vehicle

Requirements

• Valid Florida driver’s license

• Clean driving record preferred

• Must be able to pass a background check for a criminal record

• Pest control experience is a plus, but not required

• Basic math skills

• Lawn, landscaping or outdoor service experience is helpful

• Must be dependable and willing to learn

Schedule

Full-time position available, Monday-Friday 8-4

Compensation

Pay is based on experience. Training is available for the right person.

$20 Plus Per Hour

401(k) plan & company match after probation period

PTO Days

Company- paid holidays

Overtime pay

Commissions given for referrals
