Position: Part-Time Event Security Agent
Location: Santa Barbara Area
Hours: Varies based on events
Pay: Competitive hourly rate
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of event attendees, staff, and property.
- Monitor entry and exit points, conduct bag checks, and manage crowd control.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in a professional manner.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of security checkpoints and barriers.
- Provide excellent customer service and act as a friendly point of contact for attendees.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security or a related field is a plus, but not required.
- Strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to pass a background check and meet any local licensing requirements.
