Job description
As a Senior NLP and LLM Data Scientist, you will be a key player in designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions that analyze and understand human language at scale. Your work will involve utilizing state-of-the-art NLP models and LLMs to extract valuable information, generate insights, and enable decision-making from vast and complex textual datasets. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a team of data scientists and contribute to cutting-edge research and development projects in the field of language understanding and generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the development and implementation of NLP models and algorithms for text data analysis.
- Utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT-3, BERT, or similar, for various NLP tasks.
- Conduct data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering to prepare text data for analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and requirements.
- Utilize NLP and LLM techniques to extract insights, sentiment analysis, entity recognition, and more.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists within the team.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP, LLMs, and AI research.
- Lead and contribute to research and development projects related to language understanding and generation.
Requirements:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Natural Language Processing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in NLP and LLMs, with a strong track record of successful projects.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
- Familiarity with NLP libraries and frameworks (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Transformers).
- Experience in working with Large Language Models is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
- A passion for staying at the forefront of NLP and LLM advancements.
