BE A PART OF SOMETHING GREATThis position supports the work of the YMCA, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Achievers Site Director is 100% dedicated to the program site location (works with an office in the school) and is responsible for the oversight of the site-specific Achievers program in partnership with the collaborating school and Achievers Leadership. The Site Director serves as the primary contact to the school administration and faculty and helps establish the program at the assigned school.What You'll DoAdminister the day-to-day operation of the afterschool program, ensuring that all the program components are implemented to required dosage.In partnership with the school staff and school liaison, monitor and promote program student recruitment, ensuring optimal enrollment at all times based on the five criteria of need.Oversee and review Achiever Teacher lesson plans assuring that they meet program fidelity of best teaching practices.Prepare and monitor staff schedule at all times, modifying it as necessary to maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios.Assist in facilitating integration of the YMCA afterschool program into the overall school culture in collaboration with school leadership.Ensure that the following data is reported to Achievers leadership consistent with the reporting schedule and timelines:Test score dataAttendance dataStudent grades dataDESSA dataMonthly ReportsMust be at least 21 years of age (unless currently in an accredited university education/administration degree program Senior level or upon recommendation by university faculty of exemplary level of maturity and leadership skills).A minimum of four years of relevant experience working with children and/or youth elementary – middle school age in an educational setting including at least two years in an administrative supervisory capacity with demonstrated decision making ability.Must possess oral, auditory and written communication skills appropriate for interacting with both children and adults.Positive role model with strong leadership, conflict resolution and diplomacy skills.Must be capable of directing the daily administrative, program related, and supervisory responsibilities of the afterschool program.Employee Benefits Include:Free Family YMCA MembershipSupportive TeamYMCA Program DiscountsChild Care DiscountThe Kenosha YMCA is a not-for-profit that meets qualifications for Public Service Loan Forgiveness programming.Be part of a team that’s helping students build confidence, friendships and skills that last beyond the school day.The Kenosha YMCA has zero tolerance for abuse of youth in its programs by employees or volunteers and follows child abuse prevention policies, mandated reporting requirements and all applicable law enforcement requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
