Operator / Technician Contract Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Reliability Lab Operator / Failure Analysis Technician to join our client's team in Fort Collins, Colorado on a long-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with advanced laboratory equipment, follows established procedures, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality documentation.
Responsibilities
- Operate Failure Analysis (FA) equipment after completing the required training, including:
- Optical Microscope
- Acoustic Microscope
- X-Ray
- Curve Trace
- Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR)
- Additional FA tools and equipment as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance on FA equipment and other laboratory systems following training.
- Complete failure analysis tasks as assigned, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Document findings in comprehensive final reports and accurately enter data into the appropriate database.
- Communicate effectively with team members through email and in-person discussions regarding project needs, progress, and results.
- Follow established laboratory procedures while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to learn and operate technical laboratory equipment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Previous laboratory, electronics, semiconductor, or failure analysis experience is a plus but not required.
