Kitchen Operations Manager (Bilingual English/Spanish)

XOLO Tacos – Las Vegas, NV

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year (DOE) + Performance Bonus

This is not just a management position—we are looking for someone who leads by example, is willing to work alongside the team, and takes pride in running an organized, efficient kitchen.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily back-of-house operations
  • Ensure all food prep is completed accurately and on time
  • Create and manage daily prep lists
  • Schedule kitchen staff and manage labor efficiently
  • Hire, train, coach, and develop kitchen employees
  • Maintain recipe consistency and food quality
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
  • Control food costs and minimize waste
  • Ensure compliance with all health department and food safety standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen
  • Work all kitchen stations when needed and lead during busy service periods
  • Communicate effectively with both front-of-house and ownership

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and Spanish (Required)
  • 3+ years of restaurant kitchen management experience
  • Experience working in a Mexican restaurant, taqueria, or authentic Mexican kitchen (Required)
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Experience with employee scheduling and labor management
  • Knowledge of inventory control and food cost management
  • ServSafe Certification preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
