Job description

Overview
Join our Team! We have Groundwork and Climbing positions open as we expand our Trim Crew Division. We seek green industry professionals with experience in trimming, pruning, and job-site clean-up in a high-production environment. Further your career with us and help improve tree health, ensure safety, and enhance the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces. If you are passionate about arboriculture and eager to grow your skills in tree care and landscape maintenance, this is the perfect opportunity to elevate your career! Duties

  • (For climbing positions) Safely ascend and descend trees using climbing gear, rigging techniques, and harnesses to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks.
  • Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access hard-to-reach areas efficiently and securely.
  • Perform trimming, pruning and removals per industry standards to accomplish client goals for their property.
  • Use rigging equipment to carefully lower branches or debris, ensuring safety for team members and property.
  • (For groundwork positions) Communicate with and provide support to aloft climbers, ensure drop zone safety, drag brush and clear debris.
  • Conduct tree assessments to identify health issues or hazards, recommending appropriate care or removal strategies.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, including tree conditions, treatments applied, and equipment used.

Requirements

  • Experience in tree care, horticulture, or related landscape fields.
  • Knowledge of tree trimming techniques, pruning standards, and overall tree health management.
  • Ability to operate bucket trucks safely and confidently; certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with rigging procedures for safe removal or pruning of large branches or trees.
  • Strong physical fitness with the ability to climb trees for extended periods while maintaining safety protocols.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality work standards.
