Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our fully remote team at Woman's Counseling Center. This full-time position allows you to leverage your expertise in marriage and family therapy to provide essential counseling services to a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families. You will play a critical role in facilitating emotional healing and growth for clients facing a variety of mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional health to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual and couples therapy sessions, delivering therapeutic interventions that promote healing and communication.
• Regularly review treatment plans, making necessary adjustments in response to the clients' evolving needs and progress.
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, engaging with healthcare providers to offer holistic care that addresses various aspects of a client’s well-being.
• Deliver crisis intervention strategies to support clients in emergencies or acute distress.
• Stay updated on contemporary research and best practices within the marriage and family therapy field, applying these insights to your practice.
• Advocate for clients' rights, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their therapeutic journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Woman's Counseling Center, our client population encompasses a wide array of individuals, including adolescents, adults, and couples experiencing various mental health issues. You will directly interact with clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma, utilizing your expertise to guide them through their concerns and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and couples therapy with a focus on various mental health issues.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong proficiency in documenting care in electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly within community health or counseling centers.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and techniques for remote client engagement.
• Experience working with diverse populations and various age groups, including children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, employees will benefit from:
