Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team at Within Therapy & Wellness. In this full-time position, you will provide essential outpatient behavioral health services remotely, ensuring patients receive the support they need to enhance their emotional, behavioral, and social well-being. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct crisis intervention and counseling sessions, thoroughly assessing clients’ emotional and behavioral needs during each encounter.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with members of the healthcare team, including physicians, social workers, and administrative staff, regarding client progress, needs, and any challenges encountered in therapy.
• Document clinical sessions comprehensively, keeping accurate records of patient engagements, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational policies and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to co-create effective treatment plans, engaging in comprehensive discharge planning that reflects psychosocial assessments.
• Build strong relationships with community stakeholders and act as a representative of Within Therapy & Wellness by participating in community meetings focused on enhancing social support programs for our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base, providing care to individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Our recovery-centered approach emphasizes understanding each patient's unique experiences and developing tailored strategies that empower them in their healing journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Possession of an independent professional license (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating the ability and knowledge to provide effective therapy.

Preferred Experience

Experience in outpatient behavioral health therapy, particularly within community health settings, is preferred. Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques, strong assessment skills, and a background in collaborative treatment planning will enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
