Summary, Role:
Casino Manager on duty oversees daily operations in the casino. Monitoring staff scheduling, labor costs, cage and count operations. The casino manager is responsible for the overall guest satisfaction in the casino. Following local/state and federal regulations as well as upholding internal policy and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Managing casino staffing during the shift
- Responsible for controlling labor costs through proper scheduling of staff
- Assists the Casino General Manager with carrying out policy, procedures and developing personnel in keeping with departmental objectives
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with the system of internal controls
- Safeguarding company assets within the casino
- Enforcing casino rules and regulations
- Ensuring compliance with gaming regulations
Requirements (KSAโs)
- Working knowledge of Title 31, State and Federal Gaming and employment regulations
- 1-3 years Casino experience is preferred
- Basic to Intermediate skills in typing and computer software skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) are required
- Good communication skills
- Leadership skills
- Active Gaming License is preferred; must be able to obtain registration with NV Gaming Control Board
- Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Education, certificates:
High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years Casino supervisory experience preferred
Physical requirements:
Standing, walking for long periods at a time, works in a smoke-filled, noisy environment
