Job Title: Fleet Fueling Delivery DriverJob Summary:We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Fleet Fueling Delivery Driver to deliver fuel directly to commercial vehicle fleets, heavy equipment, and construction sites. The ideal candidate will have experience operating fuel trucks, a strong understanding of DOT regulations, and excellent time management skills. This position requires safe and accurate handling of diesel and gasoline products to keep customer fleets running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely load, transport, and dispense fuel to customer fleets, tanks, or equipment at designated sites.
- Conduct pre and posttrip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain accurate fuel delivery logs, meter readings, and customer delivery tickets.
- Operate fueling equipment, pumps, and meters according to safety and environmental regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or site conditions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and general maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Ensure compliance with all DOT, OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.
- Identify and report any potential fuel spills, leaks, or hazards immediately.
- Perform minor troubleshooting or maintenance of fueling equipment as needed.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid CDL (Class B or A) with Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements.
- Minimum 1 year of fuel delivery or truck driving experience (preferred).
- Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe fueling practices.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic mechanical skills are a plus.
Work Conditions:- Work performed outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Requires bending, lifting fuel hoses (up to 75 lbs), and standing for long periods.
- Early morning, evening, and weekend shifts may be required depending on customer needs.
- Use of PPE (personal protective equipment) is mandatory at all times.
