Wiand Dental Lab, a leader in providing top-quality dental prosthetics, is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Dental Lab Front Office Coordinator. This is a crucial role within our team, providing the first line of communication between our clients and our technical staff. This position is not a remote job and requires the candidate to be based at our main office to effectively manage all front office operations related to client and vendor interactions.
The ideal candidate will be the face of our lab, handling both administrative and coordination duties to ensure our dental office runs smoothly and efficiently. Duties and Responsibilities

• Fielding client/vendor/patient phone calls including questions and requests, handling as much up front as possible.
• Managing client case pick-ups and deliveries including dispatch for our delivery drivers.
• Packing and invoicing dental cases.
• Shipping and receiving of cases, supplies, etc.
• Ordering teeth and maintaining inventory.
• Scheduling and confirming our same day service options (relines/repairs).
• Gathering and attaching case information.
• Following up on pending or on-hold cases.
• Working with workflow and surgery coordinators to accommodate client requests.
• Educating clients by answering their questions and providing support materials as needed.
• Cross-training/backing-up workflow and surgery coordinators.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a dental lab or dental office setting.
• Excellent understanding of dental prosthetics.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to engage with clients effectively.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to solve problems swiftly and efficiently.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in using office software and communication tools.

Since 1992, our goal has always been to design and fabricate high-quality premium dental prosthetics. Our quest began primarily with removables which expanded into implant supported full arch hybrids and overdentures and now a complete line of crown & bridge products from posterior crowns to complete smile design. And while removables have traditionally been conventionally made by hand, digital is now becoming a large part of our business. As a lab, we have to be great at both as every dentist works differently. It has been a deliberate, gradual evolution in order to maintain quality and balance inside our laboratory for both our staff and our clients. Our technicians are true artists who we give the proper amount of time and tools necessary to create ideal restorations. Our goal is to give the patients we help to treat the best that dentistry has to offer. Our entire production process is streamlined by allowing our technicians to focus on one part of the fabrication, so they become experts in every stage of the process. New hires typically start in the model room and then move position to position through the lab. We train our technicians up in what we call the Wiand Way which represents doing tasks thoroughly using the best materials and equipment available and beginning with the end in mind. We take extra time and steps at the foundational level to ensure a successful outcome for the doctor and the patient. We do our best to hold our clients to a higher standard making sure to get accurate records to work from.
