  • MUST BE PROFICIENT IN THE USE OF COMPUTERS
  • MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
  • MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM YOUR POST
  • MUST PASS DRUG SCREENING

Post specifics:
  • The Schedule is: Tuesday through Saturday 2pm-10pm at $15.05/hr starting
  • The primary duties include, but are not limited to: Processing visitors, guests and vendors into the community utilizing an electronic visitor management system and land line telephone.
  • Vehicle patrol required?: No vehicle patrols required for this post
  • Accurate Data Entry is an absolute must for this position.

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to loss prevention. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring premises through surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of suspicious activity.
  • Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies while following established protocols.
  • Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for all individuals on-site.
  • Conduct regular inspections of property and equipment to identify potential security risks.
  • Provide assistance during emergencies
  • Document incidents and prepare reports detailing observations and actions taken during shifts.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure effective incident resolution.

Experience:
  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of conflict management techniques and loss prevention strategies is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with surveillance technology and CCTV operation is an advantage.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals in various situations.
