Role Description The Real Estate Closer is a full-time, on-site role based in Gulf Shores, AL. This position is responsible for coordinating residential and commercial real estate closings, including preparing and reviewing closing documents, ensuring accuracy of contractual agreements, and verifying compliance with firm and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include communicating with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and title companies; managing escrow funds; ordering and reviewing title work and title insurance; and scheduling and conducting closing appointments. The Real Estate Closer will also resolve issues that arise prior to closing, maintain organized files and records, and provide professional, client-centered service that aligns with the firm’s values.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills related to contractual agreements and contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and interpreting real estate contracts.
  • Candidates should possess skills in executing closings, including coordinating closing activities and preparing accurate settlement statements.
  • Candidates should possess skills in escrow management, including handling funds, balancing ledgers, and ensuring proper disbursements.
  • Candidates should possess skills related to title insurance and title work, including understanding title commitments, exceptions, and endorsements.
  • Prior experience in real estate law, title company, lender closing department, or a similar environment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and client-focused demeanor.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and closing or title production systems; willingness to learn firm-specific tools and processes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in real estate, paralegal studies, or a related field is a plus.
