Engineering Hybrid — New York City, NY or Salt Lake City, UT Full Time
Senior Frontend EngineerOwn the frontend at Abstract. You'll architect and build the platform's user experience, integrate with AI-powered APIs, and evolve the design system — with direct autonomy and a close working relationship with the CTO.
What you'll do- Architect and build new frontend features on the Abstract platform
- Integrate with Python-based chat and data APIs
- Own design system evolution and maintenance
- Optimize performance and component structure
- 7+ years professional software engineering experience
- Deep expertise with React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS
- Strong API integration and data flow handling skills
- Comfort building around AI systems and streaming responses
- Proactive communication and collaborative mindset
- SaaS scaling experience with revenue
- Legal tech or govtech experience
- Early-stage startup engineering experience
$175,000–$220,000 · Equity · 401(k) with 3.5% match
