Job description

Warrior Coal, LLC is in the process of filling the position of Mine Systems Tech. To be considered in the selection process, the following is a list of qualifications:

  • MSHA Safety Training up to date
  • 2 years experience in work underground
  • Perform permissibility on all electrical equipment to MSHA standards, record in books
  • Working knowledge of MSHA requirements of communication systems and atmospheric monitoring
  • Installing and troubleshooting underground communications systems including fiber, CO/Tracking, Leaky Feeder, and Page Phone systems
  • Ability to read electrical prints and troubleshoot electrical problems
  • Basic computer skills
  • Heavy equipment operation
  • Work weekends
  • Work any shift
  • Safety conscious
  • Self motivated
  • Good communication skills & work well with others

Work includes: Using all skills listed above, lifting 50 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs occasionally, constant kneeling, bending, squatting, twisting, walking on uneven surfaces, standing, reaching, pulling, climbing, and working in cramped quarters.
