Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cabinet Maker role based in Lehi, UT. The Cabinet Maker will construct, assemble, and install custom cabinetry and millwork according to detailed drawings, measurements, and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include selecting and cutting materials, operating woodworking machinery and hand tools, fitting and finishing components, and ensuring accuracy in layout and joinery. The role involves collaborating with designers and other shop team members, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and inspecting finished products for quality and consistency. The Cabinet Maker will also assist with on-site installations and occasional adjustments or repairs to ensure a precise fit in client spaces.
Qualifications
  • Strong cabinetry and woodworking skills, including experience building and assembling custom cabinets.
  • Millwork and carpentry abilities for crafting, trimming, and installing detailed wood components.
  • Spatial design understanding to interpret drawings, measure accurately, and plan layouts in three-dimensional spaces.
  • Ability to safely operate common woodworking tools and machinery (e.g., table saws, routers, sanders, nailers).
  • Attention to detail with a focus on fit, finish, and craftsmanship, including accurate measuring and problem-solving on the shop floor and job site.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
  • Reliable work habits, punctuality, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and work with tools safely; commitment to following safety procedures.
  • Prior experience in cabinet making, millwork, or related trades is preferred; relevant vocational training or apprenticeship is a plus.
