Job description

CORPORATE RECRUITER

Help build the team behind our continued growth.

Bloomfield Hills, MI  |  Full-time  |  Hybrid  |  Corporate Talent Acquisition

Walker Healthforce is a specialized healthcare staffing and IT consulting firm connecting exceptional professionals with healthcare organizations nationwide. We are seeking a Corporate Recruiter to lead internal hiring and help shape the people, capabilities and leadership pipeline behind our growth.

You will recruit across the organization—from interns and early-career professionals to experienced recruiters, corporate team members and senior leaders. The ideal candidate combines strong talent judgment, consultative partnership, disciplined execution and a high-touch candidate experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for internal roles across recruiting, sales, account management, operations, finance, technology, internships and leadership.
  • Partner with hiring managers and executives to clarify business needs, define success profiles and establish realistic hiring strategies.
  • Create targeted job postings, sourcing plans, structured interviews and job-related selection criteria.
  • Use AI-enabled tools, professional networks, referrals, universities, industry associations and direct outreach to build diverse talent pipelines.
  • Assess skills, judgment, motivation, learning agility, accountability and cultural contribution through structured interviews.
  • Guide hiring managers toward consistent, evidence-based decisions and challenge assumptions when appropriate.
  • Manage candidate communication, interviews, references, offers, negotiations and preboarding handoffs while maintaining accurate recruiting data and reporting.

What We’re Looking For

  • Five or more years of progressive corporate recruiting or talent acquisition experience, including professional and high-volume hiring.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting recruiters, sales professionals, account managers or corporate talent within staffing, workforce solutions, consulting or professional services.
  • Experience hiring across multiple levels, from interns and recent graduates through senior professionals and leaders.
  • Strong behavioral interviewing, candidate assessment, stakeholder management, negotiation and closing capabilities.
  • Ability to evaluate cultural contribution objectively using consistent, job-related standards.
  • Experience using an ATS/CRM, AI-enabled tools and recruiting analytics to manage pipelines and improve outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, discretion, judgment, organization, and follow-through.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

What Success Looks Like

Success is measured through quality and conversion—not activity alone. Key outcomes include time to qualified candidates, time to fill, pipeline quality and diversity, offer acceptance, new-hire retention, candidate experience, hiring-manager partnership and recruiting data quality.

What We Offer

  • A visible role with direct access to leaders and meaningful influence on Walker Healthforce’s continued growth.
  • Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, retirement benefits, and professional development.
  • Modern recruiting technology and a collaborative culture that values performance, innovation, mentorship and inclusion.

Join forces with us. Build the team that will shape Walker Healthforce’s future.
