Job description


Our Client is an NYC-based VC-funded seed stage startup backed by Y Combinator.
Our client makes it easy for businesses to collect documents from their clients. Instead of having to make client portal accounts or create new Dropbox folders every time you need documents,.
Our Client is an NYC-based VC-funded seed stage startup backed by Y Combinator.
Responsibilities:
  1. Work closely with the CTO to build features and address bugs
  2. Own projects end-to-end
  3. Collaborate with the team around project scope and timeline
  4. Establish best practices for the codebase and the tech team
  5. Shape the company culture

Requirements:
  1. 5+ years experience as a fullstack or backend developer
  2. Experience with REST API development
  3. Able to work in a fast paced early startup environment
  4. Able to take full ownership of projects including scoping, system design, implementation, QA, deployment, and maintenance
  5. Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have:
  1. Prior startup and/or SaaS experience
  2. Experience with encryption and transfer of data
  3. Experience with any part our stack

Our stack:
  1. AWS, Kubernetes, Vercel
  2. Python, Flask, SqlAlchemy
  3. NextJS, Javascript/Typescript, React, CSS, Tailwind

Process:
  1. 30 minute conversation with a founder
  2. Take home assessment
  3. Interview with full team

Compensation:
  1. Base Salary: $100,000-$180,000
  2. Equity: 0.5% - 1.5%
