A Barista serves as the face of the coffee shop, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality specialty coffee and beverage items, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation & Service

• Prepare and serve hot, cold, and blended specialty coffee beverages according to standard recipes and quality standards.

• Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, milk steamers, and drip brewers efficiently and safely.

• Perform espresso extraction dial-ins and basic latte 

Customer Experience & Sales

• Greet customers warmly, answer questions about menu offerings, and offer recommendations based on customer preferences.

• Process cash and digital card transactions accurately through the Point of Sale (POS) system.

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints promptly with a positive attitude.

Skills & Competencies

• Attention to detail in flavor profiles, presentation, and recipe adherence

• Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment

• Strong team collaboration and communication

• Basic math and cash-handling skills
