Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our growing team. In this role, you will handle a variety of woodworking and construction tasks, ranging from structural framing to precise finish carpentry. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a sharp eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a deep respect for job site safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication & Installation: Read blueprints and sketches to accurately measure, cut, shape, and install wood, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials.
• Framing & Structure: Construct wooden frameworks, including subfloors, walls, roofs, and stairs.
• Finish Carpentry: Install trim, molding, cabinetry, doors, windows, and hardware with a high level of precision.
• Site Layout: Establish building lines, levels, and elevations using lasers, levels, and transits.
• Maintenance & Repair: Inspect, repair, or replace damaged frameworks or other structures and fixtures.
• Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the project manager, sub-contractors, and apprentices to keep jobs on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in commercial or residential carpentry.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in using hand and power tools (miter saws, circular saws, routers, pneumatic nailers, etc.).
• Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and technical drawings.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
• Transportation: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute to various job sites.
• Tools: Must possess your own basic hand tools and tool belt (major power tools provided by the company).

What We Offer 

• Pay Range:  Based on Experience and Skill Set
• Schedule: Full-time - ,Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with occasional Saturdays
• We are also open to Sub-Contractors looking for 1099 Opportunities.
