Veterans Crisis Intervention, Inc. is actively seeking dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) for our fully remote, full-time positions. Work Environment

This remote position promotes a healthy work-life balance, with a flexible schedule allowing you to customize your caseload between 10-30 billable hours per week. By relieving our therapists of administrative burdens, we enable you to focus entirely on delivering exceptional care. Our telehealth services foster a convenient environment for therapy delivery, complemented by opportunities for team collaboration through remote or occasional in-person group consultations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and facilitate effective short-term psychotherapy tailored to ambulatory mental health service clients.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including crisis intervention, brief therapy, skills training, couples and family therapy, and addictions counseling, to address diverse client needs.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including licensed psychologists and other health professionals, to ensure optimal care and support for clients.
• Assess and analyze treatment progress, adapting therapy plans based on clinical observations and feedback.
• Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions, prepare detailed reports, and communicate with relevant parties, such as family members and social agencies, to coordinate care.
• Participate actively in weekly clinical team meetings to discuss case evaluations and continuity of care strategies.
• Stay abreast of the latest clinical practices and guidelines to continually enhance your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will center around a diverse patient population, including veterans facing a variety of mental health challenges. You will provide crucial therapeutic support to individuals experiencing dual-diagnosis disorders, navigating the complexities of mental health and substance use issues. Compassionate care is at the heart of our approach as we work collaboratively to foster recovery and resilience among our clients.

Qualifications

• Valid LMFT licensure or a Psy.D to practice in the state of Florida.
• A master's or doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, social work, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy services is required.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and managing electronic health records to ensure seamless client services.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working within a community health clinic or similar setting is highly desirable.
• Experience and comfort in providing virtual therapy, particularly in adapting traditional therapy techniques for an online format.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 – 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional incentives include a SIGN-ON BONUS designed to support your transition to our team.
