The Retail General Manager leads all operational aspects of a single store, driving sales performance while ensuring excellent customer service and efficient store management. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, this role requires strong leadership to manage staff, control inventory, handle financial processes, and implement marketing efforts to meet store goals without the need for travel.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and develop new employees to build a strong team
• Manage cash handling and perform bank deposits accurately
• Oversee merchandising to optimize product presentation
• Create and manage staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage
• Supervise production and daily store operations
• Foster team building and maintain positive employee relations
• Set and achieve sales targets and performance goals
• Administer payroll and ensure compliance with policies
• Order inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels
• Provide direct supervision and guidance to store staff
• Plan and execute advertising to boost store visibility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail management

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Retail Management
• Proficiency in cash handling and payroll management
• Experience in staff training and team leadership
• Knowledge of merchandising and sales management
• Skilled in scheduling, inventory ordering, and advertising
