The VP will partner closely with Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, Clinical, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure optimal access and sustainable value realization. This role will report to the Chief Commercial Officer

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop, lead, and execute a comprehensive Global Value & Access Strategy aligned with Verastem's scientific, clinical, and commercial objectives.
  • Serve as the senior "Voice of the Payer", providing strategic guidance to executive leadership and crossfunctional teams on payer dynamics, access risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Inform portfolio and lifecycle strategy through early payer input on clinical development, evidence generation, and value messaging.

Pricing, Reimbursement & Evidence

  • Design and execute pricing, reimbursement, and contracting strategies for AVMAPKI + FAKZYNJA co-pack and pipeline assets.
  • Provide clear recommendations on:
    • Life Cycle Management, Launch sequencing and pricing corridors
    • GPO and discretionary contracting to drive optimal value for Verastem Products
    • Reimbursement pathways (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, exUS analogs)
    • HEOR, RWE, and other evidence requirements
  • Develop and maintain global and regional payer value propositions, ensuring local customization while maintaining strategic consistency.
  • Establish pricing governance and payer pricing guidance to enable launches within approved ranges and ensure longterm sustainability.

Global & Regional Market Access

  • Build and maintain deep expertise in payer regulations, HTA processes, and access environments across major regions, including United States, EU, Japan, China, APAC, and MEA.
  • Lead regional adaptation of access strategy in partnership with local commercial and market access teams.
  • Anticipate future access challenges and evolving payer expectations, proactively identifying threats and opportunities.

Payer Engagement & External Affairs

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key payers, payer associations, and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent Verastem Oncology at key industry forums and conferences, including ASCO, SGO, AMCP, NCODA, COA, Asembia, and related access-focused meetings.
  • Support clinical pathway access and formulary inclusion for Verastem products.

Trade, Distribution & Patient Support

  • Oversee trade and distribution strategy, including contracting, specialty pharmacy relationships, data collection, and ordertocash processes.
  • Ensure effective execution and continuous optimization of Verastem Cares, the company's patient support and access program.
  • Partner with Compliance and Legal to ensure all trade and patient services activities meet regulatory and ethical standards.

Government Pricing & Compliance

  • Lead government pricing strategy and execution, including Medicaid, Medicare, 340B, and exUS price reporting as applicable.
  • Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely government price calculations, reporting, and audits.

Team & Matrix Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and lead a highperforming market access organization.
  • Operate effectively in a matrixed environment, driving alignment across functions and regions.
  • Provide clear prioritization and decisionmaking in a fastpaced oncology growth environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD, PhD) strongly preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in market access, pricing, reimbursement, or payer strategy, with significant oncology experience.
  • Proven success leading US and global market access launches, ideally for rare disease and/or oncology products.
  • Deep knowledge of:
