An emphasis for this role will be placed on the early procurement tasks associated with pre-qualification of vendors in compliance with the project specific procurement plan and the JV policies and procedures. How will you contribute to the team.

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Manage the prequalification of vendors in alignment with project procurement plans and JV procedures, supporting the development and maintenance of Master Vendor Lists. Issue, track, and collect Confidentiality Agreements from vendors prior to the release of RFPQs. Assist in preparing and coordinating RFPQ packages for market distribution.

Identify, source, and document qualified market proponents for RFPQ opportunities. Support the implementation and ongoing use of electronic prequalification systems, including project-specific workflows and governance. Act as the primary point of contact for the issuance and receipt of RFPQ packages.

Coordinate and support the review process of RFPQ submissions alongside the Procurement Manager. Document, track, and communicate final evaluation results for each RFPQ. Maintain and regularly update the Master Vendor List, including conducting semi-annual vendor performance and prequalification reviews.

Support the preparation of work packages for Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Establish and manage procurement document control systems, including maintaining the Master Document List. Collaborate with the Contracts Administrator to ensure vendor insurance and bonding requirements are compliant with company standards.

Work closely with project teams to ensure all procurement activities align with project specifications and requirements. Assist the Preconstruction Manager with design coordination activities on Design-Build projects. Support subcontractor relationship management in collaboration with the Preconstruction Manager.

Ensure all required insurance, bonding, and compliance documentation is obtained from proponents. Administer and support electronic bid management software for the procurement team. Education and Experience: Post Secondary Education in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.

CET or Arch Tech Diploma A minimum of 3 years of experience in General Contracting as a Project Coordinator, Estimator, or Procurement Coordinator High level of skill in reviewing and interpreting scope from drawings and specifications. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Familiar with the content and set up of construction contracts (including Letters of Intent, Sub-contractor agreements, and Purchase Agreements).

Familiar with preconstruction phase of a projects: Sourcing Proponents, Prequalification, Requests for Proposals, Agreements, compliance documentation. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong Interpersonal Skills.

Knowledge of Contract Law, and the Construction Lien Act would be an asset. A background with Collaborative Design Build projects would be an asset. Salary Range: Between $80,000 to $120,000 depending on experience.
