Job description

Description
Vega is one of the fastest-growing startups in cybersecurity, redefining security analytics and operations with an AI-native platform for the SOC.
We're building the next-generation operating system for security teams, helping some of the world's largest organizations improve detection, unlock the value of their security data, and reduce cost and complexity. With HQs in New York and TLV, we're looking for people who want to be part of the next rocket ship in cyber.
The Role
We're seeking a Channel Manager - North Central to build and grow Vega's channel ecosystem across the region.
You'll own relationships with key VARs, resellers, and strategic partners while working closely with Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Alliances to generate pipeline, open doors into strategic accounts, and accelerate enterprise opportunities. Success means making the channel a force multiplier for Vega's North Central sales organization.
This position is available to candidates located in Chicago, IL.
What You'll Do
  • Own and execute Vega's channel strategy across the North Central region.
  • Build and deepen relationships with key VARs, resellers, and strategic partners.
  • Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline across enterprise and strategic accounts.
  • Partner with Regional Sales Managers and Sales Engineers on account mapping, territory planning, and co-sell opportunities.
  • Develop joint business plans with priority partners, including target accounts, pipeline goals, and field activities.
  • Build relationships across partner organizations, from field sellers and SEs to regional and executive leadership.
  • Recruit and activate high-value partners that can expand Vega's reach across the region.
  • Coordinate partner enablement with Vega's Sales Engineering and Marketing teams.
  • Execute partner events, field activities, customer meetings, and joint demand-generation programs.
  • Support partner-led opportunities throughout the sales cycle and help accelerate deals.
  • Track partner activity, pipeline, and performance in Salesforce.
  • Help build scalable channel programs and best practices as Vega continues to grow.

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in Channel Sales, Partner Management, Alliances, or a similar role within cybersecurity or enterprise software.
  • Strong relationships across the North Central cybersecurity channel ecosystem.
  • Proven success generating partner-sourced pipeline and revenue.
  • Experience working with VARs, resellers, and strategic partners.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity sales cycles and partner-led selling.
  • Experience partnering with enterprise sales teams on account mapping, pipeline generation, and deal execution.
  • Ability to build relationships from field sellers through executive leadership.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A builder mentality and comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the region for partner and customer engagements.

Nice to Have
  • Existing relationships with partners such as GuidePoint, WWT, Optiv, SHI, CDW, Trace3, and strong regional partners.
  • Experience building a channel territory for an early-stage cybersecurity company.
  • Familiarity with SIEM, security analytics, security operations, or security data platforms.
  • Experience working with MSSPs or technology alliance partners.
  • Recent experience at a Series B/C or similarly high-growth cybersecurity company.
