Line Cook — Vecino Detroit

Vecino, Detroit's James Beard-nominated modern Mexican restaurant and agave bar in Midtown, is hiring a Line Cook to join our kitchen. Full-time and part-time positions available.

This is a chance to do serious cooking: an in-house masa program with heirloom corn nixtamalized and stone-ground daily, a menu that moves between Mexican tradition and invention, and constant R&D informed by regular trips to Mexico City. You'll work every station, learn real technique, and grow in a kitchen that sweats the details.

What we're looking for:

• At least 1 year of professional kitchen experience
• Strong fundamentals: knife skills, station organization, and a sense of urgency
• Curiosity about Mexican cuisine and a drive to learn
• Availability to work nights and weekends (we're closed Mondays)
