This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working in a production environment, takes pride in doing quality work, and wants the opportunity to learn and grow.General Labor team members support a variety of manufacturing operations and may assist with assembly, material handling, packaging, machine operation, and other production activities. Depending on your skills and experience, you may have opportunities to train in additional areas and advance into more skilled manufacturing positions.What You Will DoOperate production equipment and machinery as trained and authorized.Follow work instructions, quality requirements, and established production processes.Inspect work and materials for basic quality requirements.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Follow all company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.Work as part of a team to meet quality, safety, and production goals.Learn new equipment, processes, and job responsibilities as assigned.What We Are Looking ForDependable attendance and a strong work ethic.Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.Willingness to learn and take direction.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Previous manufacturing or production experience is helpful but not required.About Van-AmEstablished in 1981, Van-Am has grown into a leading Midwest provider of precision manufacturing solutions, serving the aerospace, defense, and commercial industries.
