Job description
Overview
Vallum is hiring a Solar Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of commercial and utility-scale ground-mounted PV projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare complete electrical design packages for solar PV projects.
- Develop construction drawings and ensure code compliance.
- Coordinate with clients, utilities, and AHJs.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of ground-mounted solar PV design experience.
- Ability to independently produce and issue electrical designs.
- Strong AutoCAD skills and knowledge of ETAP, PVsyst, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
