Veterinary Assistant Opportunity at Rockfish Valley Veterinary Clinic

Join our team at Rockfish Valley Veterinary Clinic in Nellysford, Virginia, as a full-time Veterinary Assistant! We are a fast-growing small animal practice seeking a motivated individual to work in a supportive and collaborative environment. If you are a self-starter with a positive attitude and enjoy working with animals, this position is perfect for you.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $15 to $20 hourly based on experience level, along with vacation leave, team enrichment activities, and discounted goods and services.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and check in patients
  • Assist veterinarians and other assistants during patient care
  • Walk, feed, and medicate hospitalized/boarding animals
  • Maintain facility cleanliness, waste pickup, and equipment maintenance
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
