Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand individual patient needs and mental health statuses.
  • Design personalized therapy plans that incorporate evidence-based approaches tailored to each patient's circumstances.
  • Implement individual therapy sessions, utilizing techniques and frameworks that recognize and respect cultural diversity.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, addressing common mental health challenges among participants.
  • Monitor patient progress through regular follow-up meetings and adapt treatment strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and care coordinators, to create unified care strategies.
  • Provide education and resources to patients, equipping them with tools to manage their mental health effectively.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients encompass a wide range of age groups and backgrounds, each facing unique mental health challenges. As a mental health counselor, you will work with both individuals and families, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Your role is crucial in helping clients navigate their personal journeys toward recovery and well-being, ultimately empowering them to realize their full potential.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in a relevant field from an accredited program.
  • A current, valid license as a LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California is required.
  • Minimum of two years of related clinical experience in providing mental health services.
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with a diverse range of therapeutic modalities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality in patient interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in crisis intervention and the ability to respond effectively to emergent situations.
  • Demonstrated expertise with evidence-based treatment approaches and cultural competency in therapeutic practices.
  • Experience providing both individual and group therapy.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
